I am currently accepting new piano students. I teach lessons in your home, so it is important that students have access to a piano in good repair or, at the very least, a high quality keyboard for our lessons and for the student’s daily practice.

I use the Faber and Faber Piano Adventures series, which I feel does an excellent job of combining ear training, theory and sight reading in a logical and engaging way. Because I feel that younger children benefit much more from singing and movement activities like those I offer in my group classes, I prefer to start private lessons with students six years or older, unless the child has expressed great interest in learning the piano.
