playground fun!

July 24th, 2010

Thank you to everyone who came out for the free demo class at Greenwood Playground! Despite the heat, there was lots of jumping and dancing and singing, and even a special cameo appearance from Cynthia King! I will be doing another free class at Greenwood Playground on August 21, so mark your calendars!

Playground of Sound is taking a break of the summer, but do not fear! Classes will resume in September!

Music Class Video

March 24th, 2010

The Comcast on-demand program Atlanta Mom did a profile of The Music Class with a great interview with Rob Sayer (he created the curriculum I use in my classes.) This is definitely worth watching if you are curious about why I run the class the way I do and what your family will get out of class.

Don’t forget, if you register for the Spring Session by Saturday you’ll save $20.00!

New Session! New Location! New Class Time!

March 18th, 2010

I have just announced the Spring Session of Playground of Sound classes which will feature The Pony Collection and a new class at Parker’s Place in Park Slope. Visit the Schedule and Registration page for more information.

Drop me a line if you would like to be added to my mailing list or have a request for a new class time or location. Now that the weather is nice, I will be resuming free outdoor classes. Sign up for the mailing list to make sure you don’t miss out!

Happy (almost) Spring!

March 16th, 2010

Spring classes start next month, but now is a great time to stop in and try out a free class. Because we see each other every week, a special community bond develops in each session between parents and kids. Come by and try out a class to see what all the excitement is about.

I am always looking for more spaces and class times, so don’t be discouraged if there isn’t a class location or time that works for you. Let me know! I am in the process of adding some more classes in Windsor Terrace, Kensington and Park Slope, but I am always willing to travel for a great group!

Don’t forget, I can organize your special event at any of the Olive Treehouse Group schools, or bring a music activity to your child’s special event.
